Dwayne Goettel (1964–1995) was a Canadian musician and one of the key members of the industrial music band Skinny Puppy. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Goettel began his musical journey in the early 1980s, joining Skinny Puppy in 1985. His expertise in synthesizers and electronic production quickly became a defining feature of the band’s sound. Goettel’s experimental approach to music, combined with Skinny Puppy’s dark, aggressive style, helped them become pioneers of the industrial genre.Before joining Skinny Puppy, Goettel was involved with other musical projects, including the band Download.
