Biography

Terry Fox was a Canadian athlete who became a national hero by embarking on a cross-country run, the Marathon of Hope, to raise funds for cancer research after losing his right leg to the disease. Despite the physical challenges and eventual recurrence of cancer, his determination and spirit have inspired countless people worldwide.
